Google provides several networking options to access services such as Cloud SQL, GCS, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, etc. Each option allows VM instances with only private IP addresses to reach certain APIs and services. In this talk, we clarify their differences while highlighting the related best practices. We also explain how some of our partners are leveraging those technologies to offer new services on GCP.
